Wengert to seek re-election to PV council

Ann Wengert, whose term on the Portola Valley Town Council expires in November, said she plans to run for re-election.

It is amazing to me that unlike other san mateo county cities that have hotly contested races, Portola Valley has very few contested races. Anne never had to campaign in 2007. There weren't any other people interested in the race.

What wrong with PV? You need new blood on your council. Why aren't people in Portola valley running for office?
