The Stanford expansion will be a traffic nightmare on the Alpine Road corridor. Worse than the morning and evening plugged up roads. Add to that the construction trucks and labor that will add to the usual mess, and time to pass Stanford from Ladera in the morning and evening will mount. Even the new Santa Cruz - Sand Hill - Junipero Serra interchange is gridlocked most evenings around 6 PM.

Stanford needs its own Freeway Interchange on 280 with overpasses into the campus when a major road is crossed.
