Portola Valley cancels Saturday's town picnic

Due to forecasts of stormy weather on Saturday the town of Portola Valley has decided to cancel its town picnic scheduled for that day.

The Portola Valley Town Picnic, scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2011, has been canceled due to the prospect of heavy rain and inclement weather conditions. The Zots to Tots Race will be rescheduled for the weekend of October 1st/2nd and incorporated into the celebrations for the Portola Valley School District's Sesquicentennial (150th anniversary).

With apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
