When Dr. Thomas Fogarty was looking for land to grow grapes more than three decades ago, there was little property to choose from in and near his hometown, Portola Valley. Great article that needed to be told. Dr. Fogarty's commitment to the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA and Michael Martella's superb wine making have been a huge boon to wine lovers and to the area.
