Meet the Almanac at Day of the Horse

Original post made by Andrea Gemmet on Oct 13, 2006

Woodside's Day of the Horse festivities are set for Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Woodside Town Hall.

The free event is open to all ages. Those with horses can participate in a progressive trail ride with goodies and prizes. For the horseless, there are plenty of activities, a pony petting zoo and demonstrations to get them in touch with their inner equestrian. The popular Wells Fargo stagecoach is set to give rides around Town Center.

Drop by the Almanac's booth for free treats and have a chat with Publisher Tom Gibboney and Woodside reporter Andrea Gemmet.

Woodside Town Hall is located at 2955 Woodside Road, at Whiskey Hill Road. Call 851-6790 for information or go to www.WHOA94062.org.
