Celeste Mariana Schmitt Henzel of Portola Valley, a top ranked real estate agent on the Peninsula, died Nov. 6 of cancer at age 60.

I have just learned of Celeste's passing and I wanted to say that she was probably the nicest person I have ever met. I initially met her at an open house many years ago but we quickly became friends and I knew she was the right agent for my husband and myself. I later referred several friends to her that I knew she could help and she always did. She will be missed.
