As he is a deputy city attorney, does this gentleman understand by his actions, is going to force the schools to take a second look at all after-school sports program (and not just at MPCSD) and perhaps think this is too expensive to have because of lawsuits as his?
I am not saying he is not within his rights because we don't know all the facts but why couldn't he take his negotiation skills and try to come to a peaceful conclusion instead now, all the students will have to suffer as a result. Is this man's ego so bruised that now he has to take away programs that enhances the childrens' life? Did he think about this?
