Atherton town barbecue Sunday in the park

The town's lovely Holbrook-Palmer Park is the site of the annual town barbecue, set for Sunday, Oct. 15, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for a dinner-time picnic on the green, $50 a seat for tables or $450 for a table of 10, and should be bought in advance. Call 752-0536.
