M-A Boy's Varsity Lacrosse
Sports, posted by Wendy Rohn, a member of the Menlo-Atherton High School community, on Apr 8, 2010 at 7:12 pm

It was a crisp spring afternoon at Coach Parks Field where the M-A Bears took on the visiting Los Gatos Cats. The Cats were quick to strike scoring a goal in the 1st 15 seconds of the game and it took M-A almost 9 minutes before they could find the back of the net. Los Gatos led the entire game, but M-A continued to fight back and was able to shut them out in the 4th quarter. Final score - Los Gatos - 12 and M-A - 9. Scoring for M-A with 2 goals apiece were Tommy Cummings, Zander Rohn, Pierce Osgood and Drew Uphoff. Ryan Johnston, Jai Vaswani, John Athens and Ben Burnett all had assists. Goalie, Trent Bastian, played a solid 2-1/2 quarters and new freshman goalie, Chase Connell, made his varsity debut and came in to finish the game.

Next game is at home on Thursday, April 15th vs Burlingame at 4pm.
