As a resident of PV with kids playing soccer, I am sure we will also see the town go easy on its requests for additional revenue from utility taxes, school bonds, parcel taxes, etc., as it raises its fees for use of its (our) fields for youth sports... Right?

If only it were so. Presumption: If you live in PV you are rich beyond belief, so any fee, any bond, any request for more money in addition to the incredible property taxes you already pay MUST be reasonable. It's getting really hard to teach our kids to have any sense of fiscal responsibility in this so called community.

"It's getting really hard to teach our kids to have any sense of fiscal responsibility in this so called community." True enough, Afraid to be named but a very odd thing to hear from someone who is complaining about having to pay even a small fraction of the cost of maintaining the fields used by his or her kids. Responsibility begins with not whining about getting too small a subsidy.
