Children's Book Week is November 13-19, and the Atherton library has two events planned.

Megumi, a popular bilingual storyteller will share "Folktales from Japan," a program for preschoolers through second graders at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 13.

Author Milly Lee, a retired school librarian from San Francisco, will talk about her books "Earthquake" and "Nim and the War Effort" at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 16. The program is recommended for kids age five and up.

The Atherton library is located at 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane, behind the Town Council Chambers. Call 328-2422, extension 225 for information.
