Tom Foolery at the Theatre in San Pedro Square
Around Town, posted by JB, a resident of another community, on Oct 23, 2006 at 12:32 pm

If you want to step into the light side of seemy, Tom Foolery, playing at the Theatre in San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose, is just the place. This eclectic menu of vignettes takes on the Vatican, the Marines and just about anything else you may be tempted to revere or repulse. Sometimes I think it's good to laugh at some of my dogmas and Tom Foolery did it for me.

This brave cast runs from tune to tune without skipping a beat or dropping a line. Fast paced and quick wit turns kept me wondering what else they will take up before the show ends.

Word has it the role of Becky in the cast is played by the entertainment editor of the Palo Alts Weekly.

The show ends 10/29. See it. Youcan thank me later

You are right. The role of Becky is played by Rebecca Wallace of Menlo Park, a former reporter for the Almanac and now the arts & entertainment editor for the Palo Alto Weekly. She frequently acts, sings and dances in community theater. Many of us on the Almanac staff make sure not to miss any of her performances.
