How come the APOA didn't start up its "PAC" activities until just recently?
Early last year (2011), almost all their co-workers were laid off to deal with Atherton's budget crisis. Not a peep out of APOA PAC, Mattes, Metzger, or Hall, who now claim they're working in the "best interests" of Atherton residents.
Keep in mind, not only did the APOA stay silent, they neither offered nor suffered any decrease in their own compensation to help share the burden. The net result is that the other employees took 100% of it.
Now that their own contract is in play, they suddenly become very civic minded and humanitarian. Right....
Complaining that they might actually have to work until age 57 when some of the employees who got laid off were more than that age, and wanted to (and needed to) continue to work.
You guys are not only selfish, you are cowards. I don't know how you can wake up in the morning and look in the mirror.
