1. Parcel taxes do not go up, and possibly go down.
2. Police Chief Ed Flint stays on to clean up the police department. The two prime movers behind the APOA PAC, Mattes and Metzger, are no longer with the police department.
3. Yay or nay on F, the library money stays with the library, and is not given to cops. If Lewis and Fisher are correct, and private money is at the ready to build a new town center, it is built.
4. Police make required concessions so Atherton's budget stays balanced without raising parcel taxes. Cops grumble, but none leave other than the ones who are forced to by Flint. Since every other community in California has reduced police costs during the Great Recession, cops have no where to go to get more money (the fictional argument they have created against balancing Atherton's budget).
Which looks better to you?
