WANTED: Kitchen gods and goddesses

Do you know someone who's a fabulous home chef? Someone who not only is a wiz with a whisk and a sauce pan, but who also shares the passion for good food and cooking by whipping up an occasional home-cooked feast for friends?

The Almanac is looking for such kitchen wizards to feature in a Home Chef series, which we're hoping to launch soon in our Food & Drink section.

If you know a local home chef whom the Almanac community might like to read about, please contact news editor Renee Batti at rbatti@AlmanacNews.com

How about Singing Mint Rooster's Testicles - I've done that for a dinner party - our most famous occasion was on one of the 2 occasions that we've booked caterers (my husband's 50th birthday pary) we realized 1/2 an hour before the party they were booked for the wrong date and in 25 minutes my husband and I dashed to John's, filled two shopping carts and spread fare on the table so guests didn't even know - Angela Hey 650-851-2542.

PS I almost failed my practical domestic science exam by burning a pineapple upside down cake on top and undercooking its underside - but I almost got full marks on cooking theory - so I passed overall!
