Original post made by Andrea Gemmet on Mar 19, 2007

DeAnn Okamura of the Atherton library released this announcement:

Gary T and his PoetTree at the Atherton Library

The Atherton Library announces a special interactive poetry experience for children with Gary Turchin on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 4 PM.

"This program is perfect for children who love words and language. Gary makes poetry come alive in a fun way, with lots of help from the audience!" says children's librarian DeAnn Okamura.

This show is recommended for ages 5 and older, in celebration of National Poetry Month. This program is free, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Atherton Library.

The library is located at 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane in Atherton. Visit our website at www.smcl.org for information on this and other programs. Or call the library at 650-328-2422.
