Not sure about the wisdom of the tax itself -- I'll have to learn more about it -- but I'm not happy at all that the school district is doing a mail ballot. Are these folks trying to fly this huge increase in under the radar?

The school district is NOT conducting a mail ballot election. This election is a normal type of election with absentee ballots for those requesting one and regular polling places on election day.

Oh my. That's what I get for reading too quickly. Thanks, Jennifer, for setting the record straight. I promise to slow down while reading about why the district wants this increase.
