Speaking of new buildings, any news on the old Menlo Atherton Shell site at 1400 El Camino?
What ever it is...the loud few will be against it.
Ralph, I think you will be shown wrong. The building is modest in scale and attractively designed. The developers are to be lauded for moving ahead. People will like what they are doing here.
Fantastic design! Looking forward to it being built.
Building is well designed and will be a great addition to our downtown area. We are in desperate need of additional housing and this project will bring just that.
Are the balconies being counted as open space?
What would be the impact, if any, of the Lanza/Fry initiative on this project?
Nice looking building.
After walking and riding by these ratty old buildings for decades, this new building will bring a breath of fresh air to downtown. The design is attractive and it does not push outside the parameters of the new Downtown Plan. Kudos to Pinnacle Group! Now let's get some more of Menlo Park refreshed and end the embarrassment caused by too many years of 'no-growth' madness.
Finally a building on El Camino thats beautiful ! I am so tired of looking at the run down stretch between Valpo and Santa Cruz Ave. So much potential on that stretch of road to create attractive mix use space.
Looks amazing! This building will be a great asset to Menlo Park. Can't wait to see it built.
Finally an attractive addition to this El Camino Strip. Seems like a nice balanced design.
Design looks good and brings a modern look to the area
Finally something exciting for this area of Menlo (too many creepy building there). Next lets ask them to take care of Santa Cruz. This main street is a shame. Even redwood city does better than us.
Nice building! Now, have them put underground parking and solar on top and it will be perfect!
I love it!!!
Refreshing! Not only the complex and interesting design but also the lack of negative comments. There is hope - Menlo Park.
Warning!: comments critical of the project are being deleted.
