Oh, you-know-who. Nice selective editing.

Shall we go back and look at the concern tr***s that were trying to tell Dems that Obama was going to lose in 2012, that the Dems must drop him and run the great Hillary? They absolutely "loved" Hillary a year ago!

Remember these words?

*** "Only 167 days until Governor Romney is President Elect Romney.

*** "Liberals have no one to blame but themselves. If they had not thrown Hillary Clinton under the Bus in 2008 they would be in much better shape for this presdential election."

***Posted by Hank Lawrence, a resident of the Menlo Park: Sharon Heights neighborhood, on Jun 8, 2012 at 3:07 pm -

*** "The only hope the Democrats have now to hang on to the White House is for Obama to release his pledged delegates at the Charlotte Convention to Hillary Clinton. She is way smarter than Obama and has some decent organization skills to boot."

Concern tr******. Perfect example.

Dear Dist 4

I fail to see the correlation between Almanac blogs that are over a year old and Camille Paglia's unedited opinions regarding Hillary Clinton. There was no selective editing as you falsely claim. If you go to the web site you can see they were quoted without any additions or redactions.

All Ms. Paglia wants is a Democratic candidate for President who is not damaged goods.

Obama can't be a moderate! Evidence shows he is a complete commie socialist pinko bent on destroying America! (according to the most trusted name in their own mind: Fox)

Just look what happened to American jobs since he took over at the end of Jan 2008 Web Link

Need anymore evidence of his socialism?

Since January 2009 the country has added a net total of 270,000 full-time jobs, but it has added 1.9 million part-time jobs, according to the House Ways and Means Committee. During George W. Bush's presidency 1,095,000 jobs were created. On an annualized basis 60,000 full time jobs per year have been created during Obama's presidency and 136,875 full time jobs per year have been created during Bush's presidency. So, on an annualized basis for every job created during the Obama presidency 2.28 jobs were created during the Bush presidency.

Obama's health care law is pushing businesses to save money and push workers into shorter schedules to avoid the penalties that come from hiring more full-time workers, who under the law will be required to be covered with health care insurance.

Obama has created the worst economic recovery after a recession in recent history. All Income redistribution is doing is putting an incredible drag on the economy.

@salonreader

You are counting Obama's first four months (Jan - April) that included the WORST JOB LOSSES OF THE BUSH GREAT RECESSION and Obama took over on Jan 21. That's absurd cherry picking.

ANYONE WHO LOOKS at the monthly job chart sees the explanation.

Web Link

Take away those first months (or even January 2009, when Bush was president for most of the month) and your numbers fall apart.

Web Link

"Obama has created the worst economic recovery after a recession in recent history." (another Fox, Heartland distortion-meme) John Boenher promised in Nov 2010 that jobs were his top priority. He has since BLOCKED EVERY JOBS BILL.

Blocked every jobs bill, but had 30 useless repeal votes on the ACA which keeps insurance companies from dropping me for pre-existing conditions, and let's me keep my 22 yr old daughter on my plan.

The GOP has had 30 abortion votes, but no jobs bills.

That's the GOP's fault, not Obama. The GOP has chosen austerity over jobs. That's wrong, of course, but at least they own the decision. Austerity NEVER creates jobs, and clamps down on the economy and revenue growth. But since jobs create revenue, they are polar opposites.

Thus the importance of this chart:

On an annual basis Obama has produced less than half the jobs and two and a half times more debt than George Bush and somehow that makes Obama a great president?

The only thing Obama has done is create the most part time jobs in the history of the United States. Unfortunately almost all those part time jobs came from full time jobs.

Obama has done a great job of wrecking this country. I pity the next president and the under 30 crowd who were stupid enough to vote for him and will now have to shoulder the burden of increased taxes to pay off this massive debt the "Great One" has created.

Obama is a dedicated socialist and socialism is ruining our country.

MenloParkResident: did you even LOOK at the charts the other posters linked to???

Obama was in office one week in January 2009, and you are faulting him for the 800,000 jobs lost from the Bush recession.

What about February 2009? 700,000 jobs lost as Obama entered his 9th day on the job, again, thanks to the Bush recession.

What about March 2009? Another 800,000 jobs lost due to Bush.

April 2009? Another 800,000 jobs lost due to Bush.

What Jobs Bill have the republicans passed?

Can you address the numbers, rather than the hyperbole that is the koolaid you drank? Web Link

"Obama is a dedicated socialist" Too funny! Obama has cut government jobs, increased private sector jobs (without republican help,) and helped us recover from the Bush recession.

Or address these numbers: 365-173, and 332-206. Americans get it. The koolaid drinking fringe obviously does not.

If it happened on Obama's watch he owns it. The facts are the facts. Its ironic that the liberals blamed Bush for 9/11 when it was several months into his watch but don't accept responsibility for the jobs losses that took place under Obama's watch.

The Liberals' double standard is if it is good take credit for it even if it happened during a previous Republican Administration and if it is bad under a Democratic Administration then blame the previous Republican Administration for it.

Obama has made a Charlie Foxtrot out of the economy.

- "If it happened on Obama's watch he owns it." @salon thinks @atherton is wrong with "Obama was in office one week in January 2009, and you are faulting him for the 800,000 jobs lost from the Bush recession."

Insane. That is just bat-something crazy to assign Bush's job losses of January, 2009 to Obama when he took over 1/22/09.

- "Its ironic that the liberals blamed Bush for 9/11" No. Wrong again, it isn't libs, but the Americans that blame Bush for staying on vacation for a month after being told by the CIA about 9/11 on 6 Aug 2001

Condi Rice, under oath: "I believe the title was, Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States."

- "is if it is good take credit for it even if it happened during a previous Republican Administration" There was 'good' under Bush? Worst economic collapse since the Great Depression? 2 failed, never ending wars? Katrina and Heckuva Job Brownie?

Oh, that's right, dastardly Obama took Bush's credit for getting bin Ladin!! Remember what Bush said about bin Laden? #1 priority, dead or alive, and all the mumbo-jumbo Bush bs?

- Bush on bin Laden "I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." "I am truly not that concerned about him." - G.W. Bush, 3/13/02 LESS THAN A YEAR after 9/11.

- "Obama has made a CF out of the economy." Again, dead wrong. See the chart Web Link Notice the Negative 8% GDP for the 4th quarter of 2008? How is that Obama's fault?

Bush was so bad, he is not even allowed by republicans to speak in public. Disagree? Show us the youtubes of Bush the Homecoming Hero personally addressing the 2008 and 2012 GOP conventions.

Worst economic disaster since the Great Depression. A ten year war on a country that did not attack the US costing 5000 lives and a couple trillion. Tax cuts for the wealthy in time of war. Katrina. 9/11. Failure to get bin Ladin. TARP. on and on....

Bush was a disaster. There hasn't been a good republican president since Ike. Nixon was a crook. Ford a joke. Reagan had the most corrupt administration in history, worse than Nixon. GHWBush? Ha - read my lips, 1 termer. No, the best republican values president since Ike was....

Bill Clinton: gave Bush a budget surplus. 23 million new jobs. Cut the size of every govt department from DOD to the EPA. Phenomenally popular with the American public. Slick Willy, the Big Dog: best republican president since TR.

Name a republican president who balanced a budget.

We'll wait.

Until then Web Link

The House passed a jobs bill in 2012 by a 390 to 23 margin. You can check the Washington Post, the darling of the liberal establishment.

Web Link

Then it went to the Senate where Democrat Harry Reed killed it. So if you have a problem with the Jobs Bill which had overwhelming bi-partisan support in the House just look to the Democratic Party who has killed the jobs bill.

Too funny!!

"The House on Thursday approved legislation that proponents say will make it easier for small businesses to launch initial public offerings, solicit new investors and, EVENTUALLY, hire more workers."

....that's a JOBS bill?!?!?

more from your link: "Republican leaders couldn’t say how many jobs the JOBS Act would actually create."

A jobs bill that doesn't create jobs. Leave it to a republican to think that is a good idea! They don't of course, it's using the same tactics as some republicans use - misnomers, like a motorcycle safety bill that restricts abortion. Web Link

Again, according to your link, the GOP House sucks on jobs bills, while the Senate did the heavy lifting: "The Senate began voting Thursday on a two-year, $109 billion deal that would create or sustain almost 3 million jobs in the next two years, according to its backers, which include Democrats, Republicans, labor unions and business groups."

Boneher immediately when back to more abortion and useless repeal votes to please the far right fringe.

America needs jobs, not a GOP bill that loosens regulations on the SEC. Loosen regulations on the investor class right after the whole banking system put the country underwater in 2008. Brilliant.

The Dems have had great presidents since Ike.

Kennedy - Bay of Pigs.

Johnson - bogus escalation of the Vietnam War. 55,000 Americans dead.

Carter - Unmitigated disaster. Too many things to enumerate. I'll just say 20% inflation rate.

Clinton - "I did not have sex with that woman." Could have killed Bin Laden before Al Quaida attacked us, but didn't.

Neither the Democrats or the Republicans have anything to crow about in terms of the quality of their presidents.

Trey Gowdy, spends years on this select committee, finds nothing, dumps the report on the doorstep of his once-bright career, and flees.

Fox viewers vent their spleens in anger!!!

After one reads the GOP report which blocked minority views and facts, read the report released the day before:

"Committee Democrats, led by Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, say it was necessary to release their own report because the Republicans, led by Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina, refused to issue a joint report that would incorporate opinions of the minority group.

The Benghazi Select Committee was established over two years ago even after numerous official investigations had already occurred, paving the way for a highly contentious process that Democrats say is aimed at attacking former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and derailing her presidential bid.

The Democrats say their 339-page report "debunks many conspiracy theories about the attacks." Some of the report's 21 findings have been previously shared, such as the conclusion that "the State Department’s security measures in Benghazi were woefully inadequate," as this report puts it, and that the Defense Department could not have done anything differently that night to save lives."[ABC News, 6/27/16]

Mr. Chaffetz pressed Mr. Comey on whether the former secretary of state had provided access to classified information to a number of people who did not hold security clearances, including her lawyers and the people who managed her email server.

Geez, take a snippet out of context - why don't you finish the statement of the DIRECTOR OF THE FBI?

Mr. Chaffetz repeatedly questioned Mr. Comey why there shouldn’t be consequences for Mrs. Clinton or her lawyers for that breach of security. But Mr. Comey insisted that it would be nearly impossible to prosecute Mrs. Clinton for giving her lawyers access to the emails for the purpose of evaluating them.

“I think it would be a very tall order,” Mr. Comey said, to determine that “she was acting with criminal intent.”

As opposed to Petraeus who had criminal intent.

I agree - haters gonna hate.

But it is awesome that you brought up Chaffetz. Think about the secrets he and Trey Gowdy have released over the years.

It takes about two seconds of googling to come up with a Cheffitz example: Web Link

“I totally object to the use of that photo,” Chaffetz continued. He went on to say that “I was told specifically while I was in Libya I could not and should not ever talk about what you’re showing here today.”

Now that Chaffetz had alerted potential bad guys that something valuable was in the photo, the chairman, Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), attempted to lock the barn door through which the horse had just bolted.

Gowdy:

Gowdy this month made the sensational allegation that one of the e-mails on Clinton’s private server contained the name of a CIA source [...] Gowdy, completing the comedy of errors, then released the e-mail publicly on Sunday with the person’s name

ARREST CHEFFETZ!

This presidential election will be the Battle of the Megalomaniacs. Neither is suited to be president. And no matter who wins the presidential election the United States will lose.

Too bad the FBI did not recommend indictment. Hillary certainly deserves it, I don't agree with Bernie Sanders' politics but he is the most honest, most decent person to run for the office in a century.

Hillary is indebted to Wall Street, Donald is nearly as corrupt as Hillary and then we have Bernie whose special interest group is the people of the United States.

He is a humble caring man who reminds me a lot of Adlai Stevenson. What is wrong with the American people when we put hype, spin, bravado, and mendacity above decency, honor, and character. Both the Democrats and the Republicans have egregiously erred and our great country will suffer for it.

MV - asked and answered by other posts. By the head of the FBI. Even the Republican frauds investigating her released claasified information, noted above. Try reading.

“It’s just not accurate,” said Mr. Comey, who has served both Republican and Democratic presidents. “We try very hard to apply the same standard whether you’re rich or poor, white or black, old or young, famous or not known at all.”

and

50,000 emails boil down to 3

That's because the three marked emails in question didn’t have the traditional headers at the top of the document saying they were classified. Instead, Comey said, each had the letter C in parentheses — a marking for confidential classified information — down in the body.

"I think it’s possible, possible that she didn’t understand what a C meant when she saw it in the body of an email like that," Comey said. "I don’t think our investigation established she was particularly sophisticated with respect to classified information and the levels."

Good enough for the FBI - I'm good.

Or you can take the far far far worse choice, your boy trump.

I'll take her over trump by a country . Any attempt to equate the 2 is stupid or even treasonous.

Party before country? Trump?

Only thing I see is a ridiculous statement that Hillary was "too unsophisticated" to know she was transmitting classified information. And that's why he didn't recommend charging her. Seriously?
