'A Time to Heal'

Melissa Moody has a private practice in massage therapy in Menlo Park, as well as at the School of Self-Healing in San Francisco. She teaches vision-care classes at Stanford to university and hospital employees, and the classes are now open to the public.

She is writing a book about her story and the healing process, and has written a book of poetry, "A Time to Heal."

"It was a means to access the pain I was in and heal and release from it," she says.
