Neighbor helps Menlo Park police nab four burglary suspects

Three men and one juvenile were arrested in Menlo Park on Jan. 26 after a neighbor spotted suspicious activity shortly before 4 p.m. on Bieber Avenue and called police.

The neighbor spotted two people searching for an open window at a house in the 1100 block of Bieber Avenue. Two others were acting as lookouts, police said.

Police officers were patrolling the area at the time so they were able to get to the scene within 90 seconds, police said.

The four were arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime, police said.

Andres Lopez Solano, 21, Antonio Barrajas, 18, Leonel Contreras, 19, were booked into San Mateo County jail, and the juvenile was booked into juvenile hall.
