 | Menlo Park Police are looking for a man who tried to communicate with young girls on the 1200 block of Almanor Avenue while they were on their way school on March 11 at 8 a.m.
The man's description and behavior matched that of a man who allegedly exposed himself to a girl in Menlo Park on Feb. 1.
In the recent incident, police said a man in a white work van asked the girls in Spanish if they knew the janitor at Belle Haven School. The girls didn't respond, kept walking and reported the incident to school administrators.
Responding officers were unable to locate the man.
The girls described the man as Hispanic, between 30 and 40 years old, wearing a green and yellow A's baseball hat, green jacket and blue jeans.
The victim from the Feb. 1 incident gave a similar description and also said the alleged flasher approached her in a similar van, at around the same time of day and asked her the same question in Spanish.
In the first incident, police said the man threatened the girl if she told anyone what he'd done.
