Services for Pierino "Paul" Robbiano

Services for Pierino "Paul" Robbiano of Menlo Park, who died Jan. 6, will be held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11-12.
Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 1100 Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park, and a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the church, followed by committal in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Menlo Park.
Born in Palo Alto on Oct. 19, 1921, he was an active ham radio operator (call letters W6PKM) since the age of 16. He received an electronics engineering degree from Stanford University in 1943.
A retired employee of Varian Associates in Palo Alto following 33 years of service, he contributed much of his free time serving in the local St. Vincent de Paul group.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann; three children, Kathleen, Paul and Angela; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family prefers donations to Oakwood Religious of the Sacred Heart, Atherton; St. Vincent de Paul Society; or St. Raymond Catholic Church in Menlo Park.
