14-year-old girl killed while riding bike
Redwood City teen struck by vehicle

A Redwood City teen was killed in a traffic collision as she was riding her bike Monday morning, according to police.
The 14-year-old girl was injured in a collision with a vehicle at Jefferson Avenue and Alameda De Las Pulgas in Redwood City at 8:33 a.m.
The girl was transported to Stanford Hospital where she died, police said.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
