A construction crew ripping up concrete on the Pacific Biosciences campus found two human skulls and other bones, according to Menlo Park police.
The crew was working on Tuesday (Nov. 13) afternoon when they found the bones and called police. The campus, located at 1005 Hamilton Ave., contains a known burial ground at the back of the property, police spokeswoman Nicole Acker said.
After the county coroner and police took a look at the remains, the Native American Historical Society was contacted to take possession of the bones. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
