Residents of the Menlo Park City School District may apply for a seat on the district's Finance/Audit Committee, which meets quarterly, or as needed.

Three positions are open for the committee, and appointees will serve for three years.

The committee works "to facilitate public understanding of the District's financial reporting processes," according to district officials.

Candidates should have expertise in financial, budget and/or accounting procedures. Committee members must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the Menlo Park City School District, which oversees four schools: Laurel and Encinal in Atherton, and Oak Knoll and Hillview Middle in Menlo Park.
