Feature story: It's a wrap for Rita Williams
Rita Williams and her cameraman Bill Moore had this T-shirt made up as a prop for a story when Walter Mondale was interviewing then San Francisco mayor Dianne Feinstein as a prospective vice presidential candidate in 1984. On that day, Mr. Mondale picked Geraldine Ferraro over Ms. Feinstein, and Ms. Williams and Mr. Moore gave her the T-shirt after they thought everyone had left the news conference in her mayoral office. A newspaper photographer saw them and took this photo that Ms. Feinstein signed in 1984. Contributed photo.
