Tree limb blocks Bay Laurel Drive

As they waited for a utility crew, Captain Jane Hunt and Firefighter Travis Hooper of the Menlo Park Fire Protection District walked past a tree limb that fell at the corner of Bay Laurel Drive and San Mateo Drive during Monday's rainstorm. The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. and led to a leaning power pole and several lines down but not broken. The downed lines were not power lines, an official with the Menlo Park Public Works Department told the Almanac. (Photo by Dave Boyce/The Almanac)
