Pets of the week: blonde ambition

By Scott Delucchi, Peninsula Humane Society.

This pair of 13-year-old cocker spaniels needs a home where they can remain together. They spent their first 10 years in a yard where they were tied to a tree for much of the day and had no chance to showcase their amazing temperaments.

We can't picture it any other way. They are a classic couple like George Burns and Gracie Allen, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Ricky and Lucy or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

OK, three out of four (we just wanted to appeal to the younger audience).

Come meet our classic couple, Sugar and Almond, at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame.
